Summary:
▸ TL;DR: This is a landgroup/militia ban, not a sim ban. Just leaving this up for posterity and statement of character. Carcer abused spawn groups, got ejected/banned from said groups, and lied during subsequent investigation about it 3 times in 3 days.
On 19th June, carcerwilhelm set his home point in a spot inside our red zone and was using it to fire at Zayne as he exited the defender's spawn door. He was then blackscreened for his trouble. Dread ejected him from the land group and banned him from militia.
A couple days after the fact, I contacted Screaming Oxygen about the incident as he was the initial attacking OIC, to do a little investigating as to why Birbicus did that, and possibly offer an olive branch and a way back into said groups to keep things amicable. I found during this investigation that Birbicus had lied through omission to Screaming as to what went down while the latter was AFK. Sucks but whatever, outsiders be that way and sometimes have more tolerance for lies.
I was told that Carcer said he had attempted to reach out to Zayne about the incident. I asked Zayne about it, and he said he had received no such message. I then messaged Carcer directly, asking him to send me what he tried to send to Zayne.
After waiting about 18 hours, I messaged him again as he had not even acknowledged, and was met with an automated block message. I sent a screenshot of it to Screaming, who relayed that Carcer supposedly tried to message me back and received the same automated block message. I felt this didn't add up, as my first message had gone through just fine, yet not my second. I pointed this out to Screaming, and asked if Carcer had sent a screenshot proving this. He said he had not, and attempted to dm carcer once again, only to be met with an automated block message as well. Screaming said he would note it in their command.
It is therefore my conclusion that Carcerwilhelm has lied multiple times over the span of a few days to Screaming. I washed my hands of it, said "I tried" with the dude, and it's now their own disciplinary problem to handle. Barring further information, Carcer's suspension from our groups is now permanent. No abusing our spawn groups is the very first rule of our militia, and carcer has compounded a very minor incident with what seems like compulsive lying.
