This may very well be a confirmation bias. That being said, we're well aware of the kind of person that Brian is. The facts of the matter are that every other time over the past couple days that we've been fighting in a sim and Brian was in it, it's gone down. This happened at Vos Imperium's sim, and more recently in Proteus's combat continent. Now here.
